Recital Festivals
Music Matters holds two large recital festivals in January and June of each year. Each festival features 5-8 time slots over a full weekend where students can choose the slot/slots that are convenient for their schedule.
The festivals are held at Trinity Presbyterian Church, which is only a 3-minute drive from Music Matters.
Students are given the opportunity to perform between 1-3 songs on each instrument in which they are enrolled in lessons. An added bonus to our festival is that each recital time is finished in less than 2 hours!
Students have an opportunity to take pictures with their teacher, receive a certificate and are sent home with snacks and drinks at the end and there is plenty of space for family and friends to attend.
We also allow families to take videos of their own students!
